We look forward to a year of slow and easy as we head into a season of little health trials. We already feel rested as fall gave us time to enjoy what we love and being with family without crisis mode. THANK YOU JESUS! Check out our Harvest Hoedown video to see and hear the blessings of 2023 and keep your eye out as we share new things for this coming year.
Praise the LORD for all He has done!

Flannel Gallop Highlights....SOOOO VERY THANKFUL!
Registration and ticket information are coming soon!
This year is a special twist on our Bandana Run that is a trail ride with obstacles along the way.
Look below for details.
This will BE SO FUN!
What we love about this ride compared to years past is that there will be no judges. Each group that heads out on the trail ride will have one sheriff and one deputy. As you approach an obstacle each rider can choose how to proceed to complete the obstacle. Each color bandana is worth points.
White rider showed up. Yellow rider made an effort and try. Red a little difficult and challenging. Black is completed the full task of the obstacle. When you arrive on Saturday to sign in a group time, your group will decide who the sheriff and deputy will be. YES, they will be given a badge! The rest of the group are the outlaws!
The responsibility is to hold each rider accountable for the color bandana they are trying for . The deputy will oversee the sheriff. Riders collect colored bandanas at each obstacle and at the end of the ride registration will add up your points. Highest 3 points will get a prize. We will have awards following the arrival of the last group.
We will hold a 10 minute meeting before the ride handing out trail maps, go over details and answer questions. Each rider will be given the obstacles and the criteria for each colored bandana. If riders don't want to do the obstacles they can opt-out and grab a white bandana OR change your mind as you see other riders givin' it a go1 No rules here....we want rider and horse to enjoy the RIDE!
Camping is available for $20 each night at first come first serve spots. Electrical and stalls are available as well as tethered lines. This cost will go to the Foothills Horse Camp to pay for electrical and stalls. Lunch will be provided on Saturday when you get back. Breakfast is on your own throughout the weekend. Dinner is potluck both nights. We will have a big fire at dinner time followed by music. Sunday morning cowboy church at 9am.
The $70 is for each rider for the fundraiser and the full amount is given to True North Ranch. $50 for youth 15 and under. This amount is non refundable RAIN OR SHINE!
We also will have a human massage therapist available for a fee as well as horse massage offering Raindrop therapy. How awesome is that? At registration you can sign up for this special addition to your weekend.
The Bandana Outlaw Run goes from 8am-1pm on Saturday May 17th. All other times are open for you to ride the Foothills and enjoy a fabulous weekend with 4-legged and 2-legged friends!
This year is a very special one. 10 years in ministry as an official non-profit. We actually began doing ministry in 2007 serving our community until the Lord opened the door for this beautiful wooded property in 2010. BUT....not so fast.. He had work to do in our faith, and pruning once again began until May of 2014 the ranch all came together.
We love to share all the Lord is doing, giving HIM the honor and glory so we hope to see you at our events to share more!
